ASSEMBLY, No. 2826

with Assembly Floor Amendments

(Proposed By Assemblymen MORAN and IMPREVEDUTO)

ADOPTED: JUNE 19, 1997

These amendments stipulate that to be eligible to be licensed as a nutritionist, dietitian, or both, an applicant shall be of good moral character. The amendments also clarify that the provisions of the bill do not prohibit any person who does not hold himself out to be a nutritionist from furnishing nutritional information as to the use of food, food materials, or dietary supplements.
