Be It Enacted by the Senate and General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:
1. In addition to the amounts appropriated under P.L.1997, c...., there is appropriated out of the General Fund the following sum for the purpose specified:

STATEMENT
This bill appropriates $180,000 to Kean College of New Jersey for the fringe benefit costs associated with the hiring of 15 full-time faculty. As a result of new programs, existing program needs, accreditation requirements and enrollment demands, the lack of additional full-time faculty has increased the institution's reliance on part-time faculty. The additional full-time faculty will meet the increased demands placed on the institution as a result of the above changes.
