STATEMENT TO

 

ASSEMBLY CONCURRENT RESOLUTION No. 72

 

with Assembly Floor Amendments

ADOPTED: OCTOBER 21, 1996

 

 

      These amendments change the number and composition of the public members of the "New Jersey Legislative Commission for the Study of Pain Management Policy," created by this concurrent resolution. Under the amendments, the President of the Senate will appoint an anesthesiologist, an oncologist, a patient advocate, a faculty member of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and a registered professional nurse, and the Speaker of the General Assembly will appoint a physician specializing in physical medicine, a pharmacist, a primary care physician with experience in pain management, a physician specializing in pain management, and an attorney with expertise in health care law.
