      The Assembly Environment, Science and Technology Committee favorably reports Assembly Resolution No. 21 with committee amendments.

      This resolution would memorialize the Congress of the United States to provide funding to acquire Sterling Forest in southern New York for preservation and management as a park by the Palisades Interstate Park Commission.

      The committee amended the resolution to supplement and update the preamble.

      This resolution was pre-filed for introduction in the 1996-1997 session pending technical review. As reported, the resolution includes the changes required by technical review, which has been performed.
