STATE OF NEW JERSEY

An Assembly Resolution declaring the week of March 4-9, 1996 as "Dental Assistants' Recognition Week in New Jersey."

 

Whereas, Dental assistants, working with the dental profession, play an important part in maintaining the dental health of the citizens of New Jersey and of the United States; and

Whereas, Dental assistants, through their skills and knowledge, make dental care possible for increasing numbers of our citizens; and

Whereas, For over 70 years the American Dental Assistants' Association has encouraged and made possible continuing education for dental assistants in order to enhance the delivery of dental health care to the public; and

Whereas, The American Dental Assistants' Association and the New Jersey Dental Assistants' Association have designated the week of March 4-9, 1996 as Dental Assistants' Recognition Week in New Jersey and throughout the United States; now, therefore,

 

    Be It Resolved by the General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:

 

    1. This House hereby declares the week of March 4-9, 1996 as Dental Assistants' Recognition Week in the State of New Jersey, and brings its importance to the attention of the citizens of this State.

 

    2. A duly authenticated copy of this resolution, signed by the Speaker of the General Assembly and attested by the Clerk, shall be transmitted to the New Jersey Dental Assistants' Association.

 

 

STATEMENT

 

    This resolution declares the week of March 4-9, 1996 as "Dental Assistants' Recognition Week in New Jersey" and notes its importance for the citizens of this State.
