CHAPTER 437

A Supplement to "An Act making appropriations for the support of the State Government and the several public purposes for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1998 and regulating the disbursement thereof," approved June 27, 1997 (P.L.1997, c.131).

    Be It Enacted by the Senate and General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:

    1.    In addition to the amounts appropriated under P.L.1997, c.131, there is appropriated out of the General Fund the following sum for the purpose specified:

From the funds appropriated hereinabove for Family Courts, the Judiciary shall hire and assign to each county, as needed, certified public accountants to review child support order payments in cases where the payor has requested court review of the order and alleges the inability to comply with the existing order due to changes in financial circumstances, and provide advisory services and make recommendations to the family court with regard to the request.

      2.   This act shall take effect immediately.
