Be It Enacted by the Senate and General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:
1. In addition to the amounts appropriated under 1[P.L.1995, c.164] P.L.1996, c.421, there is appropriated out of the General Fund the following sum for the purpose specified:
DIRECT STATE SERIVCES 26 DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS 17 PAROLE AND COMMUNITY PROGRAMS 7010 OFFICE OF PAROLE AND COMMUNITY PROGRAMS |

2. This act shall take effect immediately.
Supplemental appropriation of $7 million to the Department of Corrections to hire additional parole officers to reduce the parole officer caseload by one-third.
