A Supplement to “An Act making appropriations for the support of the State Government and the several public purposes for the fiscal year ending 1[June 30, 1996] June 30, 19971 and regulating the disbursement thereof,” approved 1[June 29, 1995 (P.L.1995, c.164)] June 28, 1996 (P.L.1996, c.42)1.
Be It Enacted by the Senate and General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:
1. In addition to the amounts appropriated under 1[P.L.1995, c.164] P.L.1996, c.421, there is appropriated out of the General Fund the following sum for the purpose specified:
DIRECT STATE SERVICES 26 DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS 17 PAROLE AND COMMUNITY PROGRAMS 7010 OFFICE OF PAROLE AND COMMUNITY PROGRAMS |

2. This act shall take effect immediately.
Supplemental appropriation of $7 million from General Fund to Department of Corrections to hire additional parole officers and establish sex offender parole unit.
