An Act concerning certain watershed lands and repealing P.L.1990, c.19, and sections 1 and 2 of P.L.1988, c.163.

    Be It Enacted by the Senate and General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:

    1. P.L.1990, c.19, and sections 1 and 2 of P.L.1988, c.163, are repealed.

    2. This act shall take effect immediately.

STATEMENT

    This bill would repeal the moratorium on the conveyance of certain watershed lands, which was enacted in 1988 (section 1 of P.L.1988, c.163) and amended and extended in 1990 (P.L.1990, c.19). The bill would also repeal the section of the 1988 law that established the Watershed Property Review Board, which was authorized to grant exemptions from the moratorium under certain prescribed conditions. The other remaining sections of P.L.1988, c.163, would not be affected by the bill.
