A Supplement to "An Act making appropriations for the support of the State Government and the several public purposes for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1996 and regulating the disbursement thereof," approved , 1995 (P.L. 1995, c. ) (now pending before the Legislature as Senate Bill No. 4000 of 1995).

    Be It Enacted by the Senate and General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:

    1. Section 1 of P.L...., c.... (now pending before the Legislature as Senate Bill No. 4000 of 1995), the Fiscal Year 1996 annual appropriations act, is amended by the addition of language as follows:

GENERAL FUND

DIRECT STATE SERVICES

20 Physical and Mental Health

25 Health Administration

    There is appropriated from the Health Care Subsidy Fund established pursuant to section 8 of P.L.1992, c.160 (C.26:2H-18.58), $4,000,000 to the Level I Trauma Center at Cooper Hospital/University Medical Center and $2,000,000 to the Camden Initiative at Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center.

    2. This act shall take effect immediately and if enacted after July 1, 1995 shall be retroactive to that date.

STATEMENT

    This bill provides an appropriation from the Health Care Subsidy Fund to two hospitals in Camden county. The Level I Trauma Center at Cooper Hospital/University Medical Center is appropriated $4,000,000 from the fund and the Camden Initiatve at Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center is appropriated $2,000,000.

Appropriates $4 million to Cooper Hospital/University Medical Center and $2 million to Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center.
