An Act concerning representation of Delaware River and Bay Authority employees and supplementing P.L.1961, c.66 (C.32:11E-1 et seq.).
Be It Enacted by the Senate and General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:
1. Persons employed by the Delaware River and Bay Authority shall have the right to organize, and, through representatives of their own choosing, present their grievances and proposals to, and bargain collectively with, the authority.
2. This act shall take effect upon the enactment into law by the State of Delaware of legislation having an identical effect with the provisions of this act; except that if the State of Delaware has already enacted legislation having an identical effect, then this act shall take effect immediately.
STATEMENT
This bill provides that employees of the Delaware River and Bay Authority have the right to organize, and, through representatives of their own choosing, present their grievances and proposals to, and bargain collectively with, the authority.
