ADOPTED: DECEMBER 1, 1997

      This amendment provides that in addition to a local school board or county college, a senior public research institution would also be exempt from the requirement to pay increments on the salary guide of an agreement beyond its expiration date. The senior public research institutions are the New Jersey Institute of Technology, Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, and the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.
