      The Senate Commerce Committee reports favorably Senate, No. 91.

      This bill amends the "Landscape Irrigation Contractor Certification Act of 1991" to delay the effective date of section 3 of that act, which prohibits landscape irrigation contracting without certification, until January 1, 1997. The bill also extends the expiration date of the certifications of those persons who have already been certified by the Landscape Irrigation Contractors Examining Board so that they will not be penalized.
