with Senate Floor Amendments

ADOPTED: MARCH 18, 1996

      These amendments make technical corrections to the Title of the bill and to sections 1, 2 and 7 to ensure that the bill is identical to Assembly, No. 182 (2R).

      In addition, the bill deletes supplementary sections 3 through 6, inclusive, and recasts them as amendments to existing law, rather than as supplementary superseding changes. These sections grant powers to local governments, boards of education, State colleges and county colleges to purchase from the Federal Supply Schedule and requires these entities to purchase from the vendors on the Federal Supply Schedules with the lowest price that best meets the requirements of the entity.
