An Act to provide workers' compensation coverage for associate and auxiliary members of volunteer fire companies and supplementing chapter 15 of Title 34 of the Revised Statutes.

    Be It Enacted by the Senate and General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:

    1. As used in this chapter:

    "Member of a volunteer fire company" includes any associate or auxiliary member of the company; and

    "Volunteer fireman" includes any member of a volunteer fire company.

    2. This act shall take effect immediately.

    This bill provides workers' compensation coverage for associate and auxiliary members of volunteer fire companies.
