      The Senate Women's Issues, Children and Family Services Committee favorably reports Senate Bill No. 709.

      This bill would amend various sections of the law and replace the term "visitation" with the term "parenting time" to more accurately reflect the relationship between a parent and child who have gone through a divorce.

      This bill embodies recommendation number 6 of the report of the Commission to Study the Law of Divorce, issued April 18, 1995.
