with Senate Floor Amendments

ADOPTED: MAY 16, 1996

      These amendments provide an exception to the bill's requirements, by allowing the temporary removal of patients, residents, or inmates in the case of an emergency condition. The amendments also change the retroactive date to January 1, 1995.

      Lastly, these amendments make this bill identical to Assembly Bill No. 969 (1R) Asselta and Gibson.
