The Senate Natural Resources and Economic Development Committee reports favorably and with committee amendments Senate Bill No. 742.
The Senate Natural Resources and Economic Development Committee favorably reports Senate Bill No. 742 with committee amendments.
This bill would appropriate $30,000 to the Department of Environmental Protection to conduct a feasibility and cost study of installing taintor gates on the Sun and Dundee dams located on the Passaic River downstream from Beattie's dam. The purpose of the study is to examine the application of taintor gates for improved flood control along the Passaic River in the towns of Paterson, Garfield and Clifton.
The committee amendments update references to the annual appropriations act to reflect the current budget year.
