      The Assembly Education Committee reports favorably Senate Bill No. 914.

      This bill validates school bond authorization proceedings taken by the Board of Education of the City of Camden, in the County of Camden, New Jersey, and approved by the legal voters at a special election held on January 23, 1996. This bill is necessary because the requisite number of election workers was not present at each polling place and the election officers did not follow certain specified procedures after the polls were closed.

      As reported by committee, this bill is identical to Assembly Bill No. 1631.
