      The Senate Law and Public Safety Committee reports favorably Senate Bill No. 1027. 

      P.L. 1992, c.87 (C.39:3-8.2) imposed a $1 fee on motor vehicle registrations to support the emergency medical service helicopter reserve program fund. This bill amends that law to authorize an additional $1 fee for duplicate and amended motor vehicle registrations as well as the standard registrations required by law. Its purpose is to provide additional revenues to support the emergency helicopter program.
