A Supplement to "An Act making appropriations for the support of the State Government and the several public purposes for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1997 and regulating the disbursement thereof," approved 1June 281, 1996 (P.L.1996, c. 1421).
Be It Enacted by the Senate and General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:
1. In addition to the amounts appropriated under P.L.1996, c. 1421, there is appropriated out of the General Fund the following sum for the purpose specified:

1The amount appropriated hereinabove for Public Liberal Arts College Support shall be used in recognition of the 25th Anniversary of Ramapo College of New Jersey and in tribute to former Governor William T. Cahill, who was instrumental in the founding of the college.1
2. This act shall take effect immediately 1[but shall remain inoperative until the enactment into law of the annual appropriations act for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1997, P.L.1996, c....]1.
