SENATE COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR

with Assembly Floor Amendments

ADOPTED: FEBRUARY 20, 1997

      This amendment would require that all ordinances or public notices required to be published by any municipality, except cities, by a law which does not specifically set forth the manner of publication, be published in at least one daily newspaper published and circulating in the municipality. If no such daily newspaper exists, such municipal ordinances or notices must be published in a daily newspaper published in the county in which the municipality is located and which circulates in the municipality.
