A Supplement to "An Act making appropriations for the support of the State Government and the several public purposes for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1996 and regulating the disbursement thereof," approved June 30, 1995 (P.L.1995, c.164).
Be It Enacted by the Senate and General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:
1. In addition to the amounts appropriated under P.L.1995, c.164, there is appropriated out of the General Fund the following sum for the purpose specified:

2. This act shall take effect immediately.
STATEMENT
This bill appropriates $500,000 to the Department of Law and Public Safety for a grant to Belleville Township to establish a police mini-station/drop-in center in the Silver Lake section. These funds would be used to establish and operate the center over a three-year period. The center will provide the nucleus for a community-based crime prevention effort, improve relations between the Belleville Police and community residents, and assist in establishing neighborhood watches and citizen patrols.
