ADOPTED: NOVEMBER 25, 1996

      These amendments would amend section 2(c) to clarify the purposes for which a person authorized to receive personal information under the act would be able to resell or redisclose the information.

      These amendments would also delete the September 13, 1997 effective date and provide that the act take effect immediately but remain inoperative until the 31st day after enactment.
