ADOPTED: MARCH 24, 1997

      This amendment would clarify that the new requirement concerning water conservation standards for automatic lawn sprinkler systems prior to issuance of a certificate of occupancy does not pertain to what is colloquially known as a certificate of continued occupancy upon the resale of a building or structure so long as the system was installed prior to the date that this bill would take effect.
