A Supplement to “An Act making appropriations for the support of the State Government and the several public purposes for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1997 and regulating the disbursement thereof,” approved , 1996 (P.L.1996, c. ).
Be It Enacted by the Senate and General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:
1. In addition to the amounts appropriated under P.L.1996, c. , there is appropriated out of the General Fund the following sum for the purpose specified:

2. This act shall take effect July 1, 1996.
STATEMENT
This bill restores $1.5 million in funding to the FY 1997 budget for the State’s independent colleges and universities that receive aid pursuant to the “Independent College and University Assistance Act,” P.L.1979, c.132.
Supplemental appropriation of $1.5 million for FY 1997 for independent colleges and universities.
