      The Assembly Law and Public Safety Committee reports favorably Senate Bill No. 1558.

      Under Senate Bill No. 1558, a person who knowingly sells, offers to sell or exposes for sale a document, printed form or other writing which simulates a driver's license or similar document that is issued by a governmental agency, and which can be used to verify that person's identity or age, commits a fourth-degree crime punishable by a maximum imprisonment term of 18 months, a maximum fine of $7,500, or both.
