SENATE, No. 1566

with committee amendments

STATE OF NEW JERSEY

      The Senate Transportation Committee favorably reports Senate Bill No. 1566 with committee amendments.

      This bill increases the membership of the New Jersey Turnpike Authority from a total of six members to eight members. The bill increases the number of members appointed by the Governor with the advice and consent of the Senate from five members to seven members.

      The amendments deleted the provision of the bill that required the two additional members, and their successors, to be of different major political parties.
