      The Senate Education Committee reports favorably Senate Bill No. 1856.

      Currently, two or more boards of education may establish a jointure commission in a cooperative effort to provide educational services and training to handicapped pupils. This bill would also permit a jointure commission to provide educational services to non-handicapped pupils.
