A Supplement to "An Act making appropriations for the support of the State Government and the several public purposes for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1997 and regulating the disbursement thereof," approved June 28, 1996 (P.L.1996, c.42).

 

    Be It Enacted by the Senate and General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:

 

    1. The following language provisions of section 1 of P.L.1996, c.42 (on page 127) are amended to read as follows:

GRANTS-IN-AID

54 DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN SERVICES

50 Economic Planning, Development and Security

53 Economic Assistance and Security

7550 Division of Family Development--Grants-In-Aid

    Of the amount hereinabove appropriated to the Family Development Initiative grant, an additional $88,000 is allocated to the Family Development Initiative program in Gloucester county.

 

    2. This act shall take effect immediately.

 

 

STATEMENT

 

    This bill allocates an additional $88,000 to the family development program in Gloucester county from the existing appropriation to the Family Development Initiative grant for fiscal year 1997 to make up for the appropriation which was previously appropriated but not allocated to the Gloucester county Family Development Initiative program.
