SENATE, No. 1904
STATE OF NEW JERSEY
DATED: MARCH 10, 1997
The Senate Environment Committee favorably reports Senate Bill No. 1904.
This bill would appropriate $5,856,000 from monies made available pursuant to the "Green Acres, Clean Water, Farmland and Historic Preservation Bond Act of 1992," P.L.1992, c.88 for the purpose of providing loans to assist local government units, and private lake associations or similar organizations or owners of private dams, as co-applicants with local government units, to meet the costs of dam restoration projects or inland waters projects as defined in the bond act. This sum would include administrative costs. The bill lists the projects to be funded and contains a contingency project funding category in case monies remain.
