An Act authorizing the sale of certain parcels of surplus real property owned by the State and the conveyance of an easement across State real property.

 

    Be It Enacted by the Senate and General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:

 

    1. The Department of Human Services is authorized to sell and convey as surplus real property all of the State's interest in:

    a. 22.0+ acres of vacant land located on Central Avenue, Morris Plains Township, Morris County, and designated as Block 41.02, Lot 39 on the Township of Morris Plains tax map;

    b. 7.44+ acres of property improved with a residential living unit and located at 240 Grove Avenue, Cedar Grove Township, Essex County, and designated as Block 100, Lot 40 on the tax maps of Cedar Grove Township;

    c. 378.3+ acres of vacant land located on Route 520 in Marlboro Township, Monmouth County, and designated as Block 213, Lots 40 and part of 47 and Block 214, Lot 27 on the tax maps of Marlboro Township;

    d. 350+ acres of land improved with the North Princeton Developmental Center and located on Belle Mead-Blawenburg Road and Skillman Road, Montgomery Township, Somerset County, and designated as Block 26001, Lot 1 on the tax map of Montgomery Township;

    e. 411+ acres of land improved with the Marlboro Psychiatric Hospital and located on Route 520 and Conover Road in Marlboro Township, Monmouth County, and designated as Block 40, Lot 5 on the tax map of Marlboro Township;

    f. 29+ acres of vacant land located on Bear Tavern Road and Route I-95 in Ewing Township, Mercer County, and designated as Block 373, Lots 2 & 3 on the tax map of Ewing Township;

    g. 25+ acres of vacant land located on Stuyvesant Avenue in Ewing Township, Mercer County, and designated as Block 322, part of Lots 3 and 74 on the tax map of Ewing Township;

    h. 3.38+ acres of vacant land located on Stuyvesant and Esther Avenues in Ewing Township, Mercer County, and designated as Block 322, Lot 74 on the tax map of Ewing Township;

    i. 7.82+ acres of vacant land located on Sullivan Way in the City of Trenton, Mercer County, and designated as Block 426, Lot 2 on the tax map of the City of Trenton;

    j. .32+ acres of land improved with single family residence and located in the City of Trenton, Mercer County, and designated as Block 429, Lot 2 on the tax map of the City of Trenton;

    k. 2.56+ acres of land improved with a single family residence and located in the City of Trenton, Mercer County, and designated as Block 409, Lot 177 on the tax map of the City of Trenton.

 

    2. The Department of Corrections is authorized to sell and convey as surplus real property all of the State's interest in:

    a. 1.52+ acres of land improved with a single family residence and located at 238 Skillman Road, Montgomery Township, Somerset County, and designated as Block 16001, Lot 24 on the tax map of Montgomery Township;

    b. .38+ acres of land improved with a half way house and located at 134 South 10th Street in the City of Newark, Essex County, and designated as Block 1827, Lots 12, 55, 79 on the tax maps of Newark.

 

    3. The Department of Treasury is authorized to sell and convey as surplus real property all of the State's interest in .37+ acres of land improved with a single family residence and located at 210 Elizabeth Avenue, City of Cranford, Union County, and designated as Block 304, Lot 32 on the tax map of Cranford.

 

    4. The Department of Law and Public Safety is authorized to sell and convey as surplus real property all of the State's interest in 3.707+ acres of land improved with two buildings currently used as laboratories by the State Police and located in the Township of Little Falls, Passaic County, and designated as Block 217, Lot 17 on the tax map of Little Falls.

 

    5. The Department of Military and Veterans' Affairs is authorized to grant an easement across real property located in the town of Sea Girt, Monmouth County, and designated as Block 85, part of Lot 1 on the tax map of Sea Girt.

 

    6. a. The sales and easement authorized by this act shall be upon terms and conditions as approved by the State House Commission.

    b. The proceeds from the sales of properties and the conveyance of the easement authorized hereunder shall be deposited in the General Fund of the State.

 

    7. This act shall take effect immediately.
