A Supplement to "An Act making appropriations for the support of the State Government and the several public purposes for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1998 and regulating the disbursement thereof," approved June .. , 1997 (P.L.1997, c. ..).
Be It Enacted by the Senate and General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:
1. In addition to the amounts appropriated under P.L.1997, c. .., there is appropriated out of the Property Tax Relief Fund the following sum for the purpose specified:

2. This act shall take effect immediately but shall remain inoperative until the enactment into law of the annual appropriations act for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1998, P.L.1997, c. .. .
STATEMENT
This bill makes a supplemental appropriation of $1,060,740 from the Property Tax Relief Fund for Fiscal Year 1998 to Cliffside Park in Bergen County under the aid to densely populated municipalities program (P.L.1990, c.85; C.52:27D-384 et seq.).
The Governor's Budget Recommendation for Fiscal Year 1998 does not recommend any funding for the aid to densely populated municipalities program; the program received $9 million in Fiscal Year 1997. This supplemental appropriation will hold Cliffside Park harmless at the Fiscal Year 1997 level.
