      The Senate Law and Public Safety Committee reports favorably Senate Bill No. 2164.

      This bill would raise from 40 to 45 years of maximum eligibility age for membership in the New Jersey State Firemen's Association. It is the committee's understanding that this change will assist local volunteer fire companies in recruiting new members.
