STATE OF NEW JERSEY

A Supplement to "An Act making appropriations for the support of the State Government and the several public purposes for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1998 and regulating the disbursement thereof," approved June 1271, 1997 (P.L.1997, c.11311).

 

     Be It Enacted by the Senate and General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:

 

     1. In addition to the amounts appropriated under P.L.1997, c.11311, the following language provision shall be included for the purpose specified:

 

DIRECT STATE SERVICES

42 Department of Environmental Protection

40 Community Development and Environmental Management

47 Enforcement Policy


       The amount hereinabove for the Operation Clean Shores account and the unexpended balance as of June 30, 1997 in the Operation Clean Shores account are appropriated for that purpose and for state and local costs attributable to the Cooperative Coastal Monitoring Program, Sewerage Infrastructure Improvement Act (SIIA) monitoring of stormwater systems, and integrated Geographic Information System (GIS) watershed baseline mapping.

 

      2. This act shall take effect immediately.

 

 

                             

 

Adds language provision to the FY 1998 Appropriations Act concerning utilization of Operation Clean Shores funds.
