STATE OF NEW JERSEY

      The Senate Community Affairs Committee reports without recommendation Senate Bill No. 2327.

      This bill would provide that, in any county in which two additional members are to be elected to a board of chosen freeholders which consists of three members, the terms of office shall be 3 years, except that for the initial term one members shall have a term of 1 year and one member shall have a term of 2 years. The terms of office of additional members to be elected to boards of chosen freeholders consisting of more than three members would remain unaffected by this bill.
