SENATE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION No. 98

with committee amendments

      The Senate Natural Resources and Economic Development Committee favorably reports Senate Concurrent Resolution No. 98 with committee amendments.

      This resolution approves projects recommended to receive funding under the "New Jersey Green Acres, Cultural Centers and Historic Preservation Bond Act of 1987," P.L.1987, c.265. The six projects recommended for funding were the most favorably evaluated among the 44 applications received in Round IV of the bond program to build, expand or renovate cultural centers. A separate bill, Senate No. 1652, would provide the actual appropriation of $8,036,000 for these cultural projects.

      The committee amendments are technical in nature and serve to clarify the sponsor's intent.
