SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION No. 21

STATE OF NEW JERSEY

DATED: MARCH 3, 1997

The Senate State Government Committee reports favorably Senate Joint Resolution, No. 21.

This joint resolution designates August 26th of each year as Women's Equality Day in recognition of the fact that on that date Tennessee became the necessary 36th state to ratify the 19th amendment to the United States Constitution granting women the right to vote.
