SENATE RESOLUTION No. 12

with committee amendments

STATE OF NEW JERSEY

      The Senate State Government Committee reports favorably and with committee amendments Senate Resolution, No. 12.

      This resolution urges the President and Congress of the United States to support the petition of the Republic of Poland for admission to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization and to support the establishment of a timetable during 1997 for such admission.

 COMMITTEE AMENDMENTS

      The committee amended the resolution to change the date, from 1996 to 1997, for the establishment of a timetable for Poland's admission into the North Atlantic Treaty Organization.
