STATEMENT TO

ASSEMBLY, No. 5213

with Assembly Floor Amendments

(Proposed by Assemblyman VERRELLI)

ADOPTED: JUNE 3, 2021

      This floor amendment:

      (1) provides that the New Jersey Individual Health Coverage Program special enrollment period is to begin on the date the program sends notice of eligibility to the individual;

      (2)  provides that an individual that receives unemployment compensation is to be eligible for a special enrollment period for the New Jersey Individual Health Coverage Program; and

      (3)  incorporates the Department of Labor and Workforce Development into the provisions of the bill.
