STATEMENT TO

ASSEMBLY, No. 5338

with Senate Floor Amendments

ADOPTED: JUNE 30, 2021

      These floor amendments change the name of the New Jersey Transportation Research Center to the New Jersey Transportation Research Bureau and require the Commissioner of Transportation to appoint a manager for the bureau instead of a director.  The changes reflect the existing framework used by the Department of Transportation for transportation research.
