ASSEMBLY, No. 5889

STATE OF NEW JERSEY

      The Senate Budget and Appropriations Committee reports favorably Assembly Bill No. 5889.

     This bill appropriates a total of $222,904,769 from the “Securing Our Children’s Future Fund.” Under the bill, $220,154,769 is appropriated for career and technical education expansion in the State’s county vocational school districts.  The bill also appropriates $2,750,000 to the Department of Education for the administration of the “Securing Our Children’s Future Bond Act.”

      As reported, this bill is identical to Senate Bill No. 3962, which was also reported by the committee on this date.
