The Task Force will take testimony from the Department of Labor concerning application process and procedures governing the Workforce Development Partnership Program (WDPP) customized job training grants and the status of the program, its successes and recommendations as to further improvements to ensure customer-user friendliness.

The Task Force will also take testimony from a traditional lending institution concerning the status of small business financing and the potential ways of increasing financing opportunities for the small business sector. Technology companies have also been invited to testify.

The Task Force will also hear from County Economic Development agencies concerning the levels of partnering activity with the State commerce and finance entities regarding retention, expansion and attraction strategies and efforts.
