NJ Law Revision Commission Meeting 4:30 PM

The NJ Law Revision Commission is complying with Executive Orders issued by the Governor of the State of New Jersey, and the recommendations issued by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) regarding "social distancing." As a result, the May meeting of the NJ Law Revision Commission will be conducted remotely. Any commenters who wish to submit comments on any agenda item, or to participate in the meeting, should contact Laura C. Tharney at lct@njlrc.org

Senate State Government, Wagering, Tourism & Historic Preservation Meeting 11:00 AM Committee Room 4, 1st Floor, State House Annex, Trenton, NJ

Due to the public health emergency, the State House Annex remains closed to visitors and the public will not be allowed to attend the meeting in person. The Committee will take oral testimony, by telephone and/or video, limited to three minutes. If you are interested in testifying orally, you should fill out the Senate State Government, Wagering, Tourism and Historic Preservation Committee Registration Form located on the New Jersey Legislature home page. The form must be submitted by 3:00 PM on 5/26/20. Committee contact information will be forwarded to you. The public is encouraged to submit testimony electronically in lieu of oral testimony. Written testimony will be included in the Committee record and distributed to the Committee members. Written testimony should be submitted to: OLSAideSSG@njleg.org

The Committee will hear testimony from invited guests to examine the high rate of COVID-19 related deaths in State prisons and discuss how to prevent the situation from occurring in the future
